What is best way to prepare and transition seller account to move to new state?

I plan on moving from Phoenix to Nashville and don't want issues if there happens to be a return or cause any issues with the system seeing me log in differently. What is the best plan to allow me to make my life transition and keep things as easy and safe as possible? Since there is a location on each item was thinking about ending each item (they need relisted anyway from new location), putting account in vacation mode, and changing return address (So returns if any would meet me in Nashville). Once there change shipping address and take out of vacation mode to relist items by using the "Sell Similar" option just using new location. Is this a good path or is there a better way that has been tested and a known path to success?

Go to your account settings and change your Ship From address, This will definitely make any new listings show the correct location. While in the Account Settings you can change any other addresses as needed (Shipping, Returns, etc.).

If that doesn't change existing listings then use Bulk Edit to change you current listings (at the appropriate time).

There is no need to end and relist.

I think they should end their listings to be safe. There is certainly no harm in doing so. Anything can happen during a move. Inventory can get damaged or lost. It may take longer than you think it will to get settled. There are a host of other reasons why I think it is wise to end all listings. @jamezmagic At that point, there is no need to put your store in vacation mode since vacation mode does not give you pass on dealing with returns or other issues within eBay's stated timeframe. Frankly, if it were me, I would end all listings about two weeks prior my move. This should give most things a chance to be delivered and, if there are going to be any major problems, odds are a buyer will contact you before the move and you can handle it.

I would presume that any seller who is making a move will use the Time Away function during the period in which they are moving.

FYI - OP only has 97 listings currently that would all fit in a few boxes so really not much of a major issue other than the actual time involved in the physical move (might be a few hours or a few days).

I just wanted to add that you need to change ALL FIVE of the Addresses in the Personal Information section of your Account in My eBay. 🙂
