What has ebay changed in May to cause a massive drop in sales? This is what i know so far.
As a 15 year seller of high value items, i have seen my sales drop and go up depending on the economic climate, as i sell luxury items.
However, my experience tell me there is something wrong here.
My sales have been steady until ebay has implemented new changes as of May.
I used the ebay terapeak tool to carefully analyze different type of product. Not only have sales in my category dropped by 2/3, but this is the case across some of ebay's most popular items (where ebay make their most money). I am not too bothered about the view count, as sales are what mater to me, but something ebay has done has disrupted sales.
When calling ebay concierge, they give the regular shpiel such as economy, covid,...
That is ebay talk for not having a clue.
Something has happened as ebay do not drop 70% month over month unless ebay messed up.
15% possibly, 25% perhaps but not 70%.
If anyone can add to what i have yet to find out i would very much appreciate it.

·3 years agoThe entire method of posting an item, for sale, and having distinct choices while doing the posting has been removed, this is a BIG change for the worst. Also, my sold items funds don't go to Paypal anymore, now I have to open another bank account to keep track of these funds.... WHO is "thinking" these things up and implementing them ???
NOT GOOD, Etsy is looking better now, I have been on Ebay for over 20 years.
