What happens if use eBay store shipping supplies coupon then cancel store after?
Hi,
My ebay store has been seeing less activity lately and I'm thinking of possibly canceling my store subscription. I've been taking advantage of the $25 quarterly shipping supplies coupon every quarter. It's great to order 100 6x9 (or 6.5 x 8.25 or whatever?) polymailers every quarter. After the coupon, I pretty much I only have to pay the tax on the order.
Question: If I use my coupon today to order a 100 polymailers and then cancel my store before the end of this month (or end of this quarter for that matter) will there be any penalty? Will ebay retroactively charge my account the full price for what I order or anything awful like that? Because, honestly, without the coupon, the eBay shipping supplies store is kind of expensive. I can get them fairly cheap elsewhere if there might be a problem with me using the coupon and then canceling store but it's hard to do better than essentially free on the order with the coupon.

·1 year agoAs the others have noted, you will not be retroactively charged or penalized for using the coupon if you cancel your Store subscription.
Here's a link to the Store terms of service, where you can look up the early termination penalties for an annual-rate subscription. It's based on the level of the subscription and the number of months remaining in the annual commitment:

·1 year agoYou should be fine using the coupon & then cancelling. Are you planning on ending some listings, because based on your numbers now the store is saving you money?

·1 year agoNo problem on the order..........but, if you are on the yearly plan, there may be a retroactive charge for canceling the store early......

You can cancel your store even if you used the coupon this month or quarter.

·1 year agoNothing will happen. Go ahead and use your coupon. If you want to cancel your store later the coupon is not a factor.
