What happens if buyer does not ship return item even after I sent him the shipping label?

The buyer wants to return the item with inaccurate/false reasoning of "not as described". I did not want to get into the "he said/she said" situation and accepted his request for return. I sent him an eBay shipping label but haven't received the item back.

What happens if the buyer does not return the item? Will I lose the money spent on the return shipping label that I've already sent to the buyer (it was an *eBay shipping label*)?

This just happened to me and the buyer won on appeal, got the money and got the item. Ebay even put a defect on my account. All the buyer had to do was claim that I sent an empty package. Because this is fraud and ebay participated in it, after pointing this out to customer service, the decision was overturned for a second time and I won again. I was ready to press charges this time out of principle.

You did the right thing here by accepting the return. When it comes to a Not As Described claim, there is no fighting it, at least not until the matter is closed. If a seller loses the case, then they can appeal eBay’s decision. But the entire Money Back Guarantee is skewed in the buyer’s favor, virtually a slam-dunk, even if the buyer lies about the condition of the item. This is one of the greatest risks in selling here.

and ebay can charge you the amount the buyer paid and the buyer gets the item and the money and your giving what you sold to the buyer for nothing... thats the new way scammers can steal from you and get away with it and e-bay backs the scammer....
