What happened to automatic relist option??
I just noticed recently when creating a new auction, the option to " relist up to eight times if item does not sell" box has disappeared. Has anybody else noticed this? Without it, looks like I'm going to have to spend a lot more time online each week relisting my unsold auctions, versus going out into the real world and enjoying life ☹ï¸
Well honestly, I'm not giving up my outdoors time, so the end result will be selling less on eBay

·11 months agoWhy not use the Buy-it-now function and then you don't have to worry about relisting? BIN will relist automatically every 30 days. It looks like you should have a good idea of prices on your items from the auctions, so BIN should be easy.

OP11 months agoActually I do have Buy It Now option listed on most of them, and the relist checkbox is still unavailable.

·11 months agoSorry-I was not clear in my previous response. I am recommending to NOT use the auction format and only list as BIN to get the 30 days auto relist. You are currently using auction format with BIN option.

·11 months agoI never had the 8 free relists available to me. I use the auction format rarely, unlike when I first started back in the stone age. Switch your format to "Buy it Now" which is a fixed price option instead of "Auction".

OP11 months agoUpdate, I went out into the woods and camped for several days, and when I came back all of my auctions had expired due to no automatic relist option. However when I did open my unsold items up to relist them, I noticed they automatic relist checkbox was back. So that appears to be the algorithm, when there is very little to nothing up for auction on your account, the automatically list option comes back. So I will adjust "my algorithm" accordingly. Thanks

·11 months agoAutomatic relisting is not a forever thing for all sellers. The following is taken from eBay's help site:
Keep in mind that the automatic relist option is only available on listings created by new and occasional sellers. The option will not show for other sellers.
