WHAT GOT INTO THEY HEADS TO FINALLY DO SOMETHING FOR SELLERS???????????
After 2+ decades of abuse, mistreatment, neglect and discrimination against, NOW EBAY after ? 10 or 14 days they are now giving + FB. I suppose and in 999/1000 times a buyer would be screaming bloody murder pretty quickly so if NO NEWS then it is good news & everything is copacetic.
. KUDOS to ebay They are getting better

·8 months agoCurious. Are you describing multiple people as in their heads or one individual with multiple heads?

I love it when you write in partly Ebonics and then throw in a word like "copacetic".

·8 months agoThis change in policy occurred after I had made complaints. I pointed out to Customer Service that my product was exactly as described, and arrived on time, in good condition, and the buyer had left Negative Feedback, because the Customer didn't like the product. The rating for the Seller should be separate from the rating for the product. It's interesting to note that the Buyer had become angry with the Seller after Positive Feedback was left for the Buyer. He didn't like the product and he didn't leave any feedback at all. It was my Feedback which in turn prompted the Buyer to leave negative feedback. Had I just left the issue alone, he would not have left any feedback at all, so this new Automated Feedback policy addresses that issue. By the way... My Posts on the subject matter are nowhere to be found, even though Customer Support agreed with me. One post after another disappeared. This is why we have this Ebay Community Bulletin Board. It is here to bring up these important issues. My posts should not have been removed. But somebody did read them, and took them seriously, because shortly afterwards this new policy was implemented. Was it just me? Or perhaps others had complained as well.

·8 months agoI believe you that the change happened after you made complaints.
I also believe that the change did not happen because you made complaints.

·8 months agoThe motivation was probably not the seller benefit, but the embarrassment that the feedback system was becoming because of the minority of buyers who left FB or cared about reading it.

·8 months agoDo buyers always receive positive feedback increasing their feedback score, from the seller after leaving their seller with positive feedback ?
stuff4divas
·8 months agobuyer's feedback score never goes up or down, it remains at 100% no matter how many feedbacks are left for them and sellers leave a higher rate of feedback for buyers than vice-versa
i have seen where buyers leave positive feedback for sellers and sellers do no reciprocate, which sucks
jonathanbrightlight
·8 months agoThat's entirely up to the seller at this point. Since buyers cannot receive anything less than positive feedback, and sellers do not get to vet their buyers before an order is placed in most situations, it's far less relevant.

·8 months agoI just clicked on Baby Come B ack, great song had not heard in years.
I remember when in Feb 1964 I found out The Beatles were going to be on Ed Sullivan. My mother had taken me to visit some relative that afternoon and we were late getting back home, we got off the bus and I ran to my house and was able to get to the first song about halfway through, All My Loving I believe, great times.

·8 months agoI remember wearing a "Meet The Beatles" T-shirt to grade school my dad got me as a kid. They sent me home saying a meet the beatles shirt was inappropriate attire to wear to school. He sent me to school a week later with a Rolling Stones T-shirt just so he could pick me up (instead of my mom) and give the principal a piece of his mind. Dad was great that way.
Ed sullivan........you're right, great times.......................

·8 months agoThere is an eligibility criteria, to qualify for automatic feedback, the transaction must meet three conditions:
The order was shipped with tracking and arrived on time.
The buyer has not already left feedback.
The buyer has not reported any issues, such as opening a return, refund request, or cancellation.

August 2025 Seller News
Automated feedback starting September 3, 2025. Only you, as the seller, see feedback sorted by recency. Buyers aren’t notified when eBay adds automated feedback.
Mixed feedback: What happens if a buyer doesn’t respond to their revision request?
If the buyer doesn’t respond to the request to revise feedback, the original feedback won’t appear on your profile.

·8 months agoIs the hyperbole necessary? If anyone truly abused, mistreated, neglected OR discriminated against me for 20 years I'd not be doing business with them. Just for one of those reasons, let alone four. Yes ebay does things we don't always agree with. But to say they have done all of those things to you, I have a hard time taking seriously.
Anyway, yes, they've been doing the automatic feedback thing for quite some time now. It's pretty nice, isn't it?
