I recently started selling on eBay and I’m trying to understand how new sellers can build trust with buyers more effectively. I already added clear product photos, detailed descriptions, and fast response times, but I’m unsure what matters most during the early stages of a new account.
I’ve seen some sellers recommend focusing on smaller low-risk items first, while others suggest improving shipping speed and return policies to gain positive feedback faster. I also want to avoid doing anything that could accidentally trigger account limitations or make the account look suspicious.
For experienced sellers, what strategies helped you build buyer trust and improve sales when your account was still new?

I see you're located in Pakistan.
If you're dropshipping from US "suppliers" or "warehouses," that is NOT a good way to improve trust.
For items you're selling, you should have those items in your possession so you can see them, know the condition, know what you ship is exactly as description, know that the pictures you've taken and uploaded to your listings are photos of the actual items.
A lot of Pakistani sellers get in trouble and lose their ebay accounts because they aren't selling products they own and have in their possession.
