Weird Situation. Erroneous Bad Feedback User Not Found
Hello..
Well, here's a new one. I received unwarranted bad feedback (I was 100%, now 99.6). Bad feedback does happen I see that with a lot of sellers getting things they don't deserve but here is some weirdness.
* First, out the gate you know it's erroneous. Complaining about shipping (I suspect this is on purpose) when in actuality I flat rate everything and frequently pay more to ship it.
* On top of that, he has left the exact same feedback for multiple sellers.
* When using the "Feedback Removal Tool", Transaction, Order, Nor User Found.
* When using "Block Buyers" list, User Not Found
Glitch weirdness or something else?
What is the best course of action?
Thanks for opinions in advance

·1 year agoIf I'm understanding you correctly, it doesn't sound like a glitch to me. Sounds like your buyer went NARU (no longer a registered user), which often means eBay kicked them off, but could mean other things as well, nevertheless it likely means they aren't a user anymore & I believe the FB is removed in those instances. It's been awhile though, so not 100% sure. If you look at the buyer's ID in your transaction, it will say NARU next to it, if that's the case & then you can ask for a FB removal on that basis alone.

OP1 year agoThis might post twice.
They removed the feedback. Thank goodness..but now, of course, I have someone who saw a color wrong (not a feedback issue.. YET!). I think it's going to be one of those weeks 😑

·1 year agoHave you tried the online chat? I use it so I have a written record of the conversation with eBay so when they try to tell me I am wrong I have proof that I did what a rep told me to do.
That feedback should be removable. Your shipping was clearly shown before purchasing and not outrageous (and anyone who thinks $5 is outrageous to ship anything anymore obviously does not ship packages and only buys from Amazon Prime). Doesn't matter if it is a high priced item (which $25 is not) - the buyer knew what the price was and what the shipping cost was before they purchased.

·1 year agoIt may be a glitch then. Someone else may come along with some advice.
It is so unfortunate to have this fb when it doesn't appear you overcharged at all.
It is also unfortunate I have a feeling that ebay won't remove it anyway based on what I read on these boards.
Some folks have recommended using Facebook to contact a person.
I am not on facebook but perhaps you could try to find their FB for business page and see if you can get someone to chat with you about the issues.

·1 year agoCan you bring up this buyer from the actual order details?
I see that you only charged $5.00 for shipping and that was actually a good shipping price imo.
If you try to bring up the buyer from the actual order details perhaps the buyer canceled his account?
