We can only edit postage on an invoice
I just got an invoice today and noticed I can only change the postage, not anything else. The guy wanted a deal if he bought all my inventory. I said I could do that and adjust the postage if he puts it in his cart and sends me an invoice request.
But the invoice only lets me change the postage. This is new. So what gives?

·4 months agoNext time this happens you go pick the items from your inventory and either create a brand new listing with that person's username in it for them to purchase from or you have them make an offer on each listing and then send a combined invoice - it's the only way this will work on ebay.
Let me stress something here as well: it is very important when a buyer asks for very specific items from your inventory that you are as specific in your new listing with the items that they are purchasing to prevent an item not as described dispute. I recently had a situation similar to this but thankfully had covered my bases.
You will do this by copying and pasting the exact title from each of the items that the buyer is requesting and pasting that into your new listing.
It's always better to give them a quote through the message system that includes the updated shipping costs ahead of time so that they are aware of what those will be And no adjustments have to be made after the purchase.
Unfortunately ebay is not set up very well on the buyer side for multiple purchases and we have to jump through some hoops to make it happen.

·4 months agoIf the guy wanted a deal if he bought all your inventory then he had to submit a best offer for each item. Yes invoices only adjust postage not the price of the item. The buyer by requesting agrees to the terms of the item cost and tax.
What I would've done was ended all inventory listings the buyer was interested in and combined it into 1 listing. Then had the buyer purchase that listing with the exact shipping cost calculated.
