WARNING... DO NOT ATTEMPT TO LIST ITEMS TODAY... SITE IS BROKEN
Summary: imac7065 reported a widespread technical issue on a popular e-commerce platform causing new listings to not go live. They advised users to save listings as drafts until the bug is resolved. Others joined the discussion with mixed reports about whether the issue was fixed, with some still experiencing problems. The thread also touched upon workaround strategies, duplicate listings, and how to contact support with a specific ticket number for more information. Several participants noted improvements later in the day, but the issue's status remained uncertain.
I just got off the phone with ebay... there's a site wide massive bug that will make almost any item you create not go live....
They are "working on it" but I would strongly suggest not listing anything until its confirmed this bug is fixed.
Some workarounds...
If you wish to still make listings... after creating each listing, send it to drafts instead of clicking "list" ... this will save the listing until bug is fixed
Work on other aspects of your account... IE shipping, scanning, picture taking, item prep, etc etc
Be careful out there.... hopefully fixed soon

·1 week agoMy concern is I usually have sales everyday.
0 sales today so far after a great 6 days.
It's as if I have been put on 'time away' from this 'glitch'.
What else might not be showing to the potential buyers?
Guess I have off tomorrow and no need to ship anything.

·1 week agoDid anyone copy the link with the 12 digit number of a listing they created and searched that?
a) Does entering the link display the listing? That would prove that the listing exists. We all agree that it takes up to 24 hours for a listing to Index.
b) Is the problem really that the listings don't appear on the Active Listing screen?
There have been countless discussions about shipping delays that extend the transit time of a package's arrival. Should I start a discussion entitled like this:
WARNING... DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SHIP ITEMS TODAY... CARRIER IS BROKEN
Probably not. The carrier will correct the mistake of the package being tossed on to the wrong conveyor belt and make the delivery.
I expect that eBay will correct this issue shortly.

OP1 week ago · Editedyou're comparing a physical service with physical items to internet code that can be deleted with a mouse click brother.... apples and oranges... to answer some of your questions (info via ebay MSO rep).... 1) The items either went to your draft page or were in limbo and they did not know what could happen (which is another reason I wrote this post).... in my personal case my items did not go to drafts, but about 20 minutes after posting this my missing listings appeared... hope that helps.

·1 week agoIf you were to look at the active threads in the Technical board today, you would see that just about every thread created is on this subject. An important one to be sure and very frustrating indeed.
Ebay is aware of this issue. The Product team is aware that the issue of seller's ended listings, newly listed listings and relisted listings are not showing in active listing page or draft listings page or in inactive section. There is an open ticket under ALERT17029 and they are working on a solution asap.
imac7065
OP1 week agoFar more people are on this section than that one... and I know ebay is aware.. people on here may not have been (which is why I made the post)... 3 people below were not aware as you can see

·1 week agoI hope it has been covered as there are tons of threads on this subject in the Seller Forum and on the Technical board. It is a serious issue and it is very good that Ebay is aware and working on it. Again the ticket number for this problem is ALERT17029. So if anyone wants to contact Ebay regarding this issue, make sure you refer to the ticket number to get more accurate info.
