Wait is this right of an international return request by buyer?
I sold an item overseas buyer contacted me and said the Items were bent. He said they were not bent in shipment.
He told me he used a Loft and Lie Bending Gauge and lie angle is 68 degree which he had never seen before and its loft is 60 degree which again is way too high for a wedge from this era. Even though I have a no return policy I told him to file not as advertised and follow the instructions. Shipping back would be paid by me, once I receive the clubs I would refund his payment. I figured that since he sold vintage clubs no reason to doubt him Sorry I am digressing.
What has me concerned is I received this message from EBay (We took care of this return for you don't need to refund the buyer, and you will not receive the item back. Thanks for trusting eBay International Shipping with this order.) Is this right or am I going to get bit in the backside and have to eventually give the refund and be out the club?
Is this ligitament?

·3 years agoGreat to see another posting that affirms that eBay is standing behind the seller protections it professes in it's policy. Sellers using the EIS program now have less risk with international sales than they do with domestic ones.

·3 years agoAlmost too good to be true, isn't it? But no, it's absolutely how it works! There is literally no downside to international shipping now. You just get it to the international shipping hub and forget it. An amazing flawless program for all sellers. Anyone who says otherwise is misleading you or misinformed.

OP3 years agoAlmost too good to be true is right. While I am very happy this to be the case, in the back of my mind I am waiting for the shoe to drop. God I hope thet don't screw this up.

·3 years agoThe other poster is correct. I want to add that if you ever get a negative from a buyer in the EIS program, the negative will be removed! This is truly a great program.

·3 years agoThat is how EIS is supposed to work.
Buyer disputes. eBay handles everything.
The item now belongs to eBay to decide what to do with it.
You will not get it back.
You do not refund the buyer.
You keep the payment.

OP3 years agoThanks you for clearing that up. I would not of wanted them back unless I had to refund.
