views and watchers
Can someone explain why I am not getting any views or watchers on items I have listed.Same items in same cat and a few dollars lower and nothing, yet the others exact same items sell with early bidding and several bids.Makes no sense.I have tried 7 days,10 days and 30 days and still nothing. Its like Ebay is blocking them from being seen.Chefsware pot handles, its not like they are restricted.

·1 year agoSeriously calling buyer a poof in your feedback response? You really should be suspended from eBay. For those who haven’t had the pleasure of spending time in Australia, poof is the derogatory term for a gay man.

·1 year ago“Poof†can mean so many things, like “poof - gone.†And I thought that “puff†was the word in Australia. I’ve had someone yell that at me across the river in Melbourne - it was pretty funny, at the time.

·1 year agoOn the Chef's Ware replacement handle, I don't see other auctions, active or ended. Personally, I wouldn't list as an auction. And, if I was a buyer of this item, I wouldn't want to mess around with an auction.

I see 20 items you have listed.
I see 0 items which are likely to be in high enough demand to predict how long they would take to sell.
This does not mean that they are not worth selling, it means that you need to expect low numbers of views and a wait before they sell.
Too many of your items are listed as auctions.
The auction format requires a buyer pay more attention to the listing and have to care enough to return to Ebay when it ends.
7 days is not long enough for anyone who cares to find your listing.
I have a great many more listings than you do, and I have more realistic expectations for views and sales. There is nothing to be ashamed of in your listings, you need to adjust your expectations/

·1 year agoDo you use eBay's Promoted Listings feature? It can give you a leg up on the competition. Could be that's why similar items have sold, those sellers have joined the program.

Sales matter.

·1 year agoeBay decided to implement a feature which basically hides people's items unless you pay them extra. It's called promoted listings. I can go on and on and on and on and on all day about this nonsense but just do some Google searches and YouTube videos and you'll find that everybody complains about this yet eBay thinks that they're ingenious idea is just the best thing since sliced bread. But it's not obviously.
I'll give you an example.
Let's say you have a doohickey that you're selling. 300 other people have the same doohickey.
Let's say 50 of those people including yourself decide to pay eBay at promoted listing fee.
Which one of you 50 people is going to come out on top of the search results?
See what I'm saying?
In my opinion you should never pay. Never ever ever pay.
The reality is people know exactly what they want and they go out and seek things that they want in life. We don't need eBays algorithm to tell us what we want.
But the search results is just half to battle because once you sell the item you're going to have to be in fear of the buyer opening a dispute for no apparent reason and then you'll be forced to issue a refund and pay for the item return back to you..
Not only will you have to give a refund but you're losing money because you're going to have to spend money on that return shipping label. And then after that you're going to want to spend more money on booze and some other type of substance which would help you forget the depression that you have fallen into over this whole situation
Good luck

·1 year ago"Vintage" is the first word (the most important one) in many of your titles. But nobody searches for that. It's the little things...

·1 year agoHmm.... I will respectfully disagree with that. 90% of the titles in my store of 1,300+ begin with the word "Vintage" or "Antique", including those I sell daily. 😉

·1 year agoFirst of all, I see all your items when doing a search. Therefore, they are there. That means that your expectations may be a little too high, especially as we enter "summer slowdown". Keep in mind that limiting your listings to auction only, means that you are eliminating the entire impulse buyer group, which is substantial. If you insist on using auctions, perhaps adding BIN would help.
Secondly, there are many more sellers entering the platform. So, finding your 19 items may be a challenge with so much competition. eBay's new AI algorithm rewards sellers who list daily, even if it's only one item. Find some small, inexpensive items to list. This will provide you with additional exposure.
Hope this helps 😉

·1 year agoExcuse me but I really want to know how you feel and come to this decision that because he has competition that he's not going to have his items getting sold? I really want to know how you come to the decision that because others have the same item that they're not going to be able to find his item?. Are you trying to promote some feature for eBay or on eBay's behalf?
You know back in the day we used to have this thing called a phone book. When we wanted to look somebody up and call them or look up their address whether it be a business or a regular person we would use the phone book and look people up and it was quite easy to find the specific person we were looking for.
If we used eBay's tactics we'd never be able to find the person because people would have to actually pay to have their name put in the book and then have their name put in the book before anybody else's name shows up.
Next thing you know you wouldn't be able to find anybody because they didn't pay the promoted listing in the phone book at all.
That's the business practices of how eBay does things.
Ads is one thing but this is actually literally paying eBay to have your items show up in the search results.
Do you realize how illogical that is?
I mean seriously if you're saying that other people has the same product that he has and they all pay a promoted listing which one of them is going to come out on top of the list? There's only one person that could be on the list. I would say after about 10 or 15 people that are on the top of the list people don't even bother to look past 10 or 15. And that's from an Google educational video on how to use Google ads.
So paying promoted listings is basically useless
Trust me if people want it they're going to find it and they're going to bid unless eBay hides the item. Which it's been claimed that that is exactly what they do often.

·1 year agoLol... if you've read any of my posts regarding PL, then you'll know exactly how I feel about it. Either you were responding to someone else or I think you misunderstood.

·1 year agoYou have 19 listings currently which I can see. Have to say that the one negative cuts you down quite a bit. Did you really react the way the buyer claims you did?

·1 year agoThe OP has 3 negatives and if the buyers filed report's on him or her . that will also have impact of 3 defects with drop on search views and increase of FVF's. .
