Very upset seller, Negative feedback reported falsely again
Not a great day! It should be happy one for me. But, I came home from birthday party to see a negative review for a $3 shirt. Buyer never contacted us over a month this has been sold. Instead of asking to return or refund went straight to a negative feedback. WHY do we keep getting these buyers that do this? Plus there is no way to respond, they get a good review no matter what. I am truly tired of my daughter & myself getting this. I have reported it and asked for review.
If they were just told to go through the proper way of doing things. Now we lost our 100% rating again for an untrue review. Its getting harder and harder to keep a smile.
What would you do?

·3 years agoThe new people in charge of ebay have ruined their platform. It's no longer profitable, unless you're in the top 1% of sellers. It's much more of a hassle than anything. How can anybody make a profit off a $3 shirt anyway? You spend at least $10 worth of effort listing, packing, and shipping the the shirt. Only for this? After ebay's fees you've made 25¢. and now you have negative feedback over that 25¢ that will end up costing you thousands in lost sales. And now you have to spend hundreds of dollars worth of effort trying to get it removed. And it probably won't be. So you just end up broken and defeated over a $3 sale, when you're just trying to make ends meet for you and your daughter.

OP3 years agoI am sorry to hear that is your thoughts. It is the design of the shirt and we wouldn't sell it if it was that way. It was my daughter's personal shirt and we know it very well.
Thank you for your feedback.
We take great care and pride in what we sell. We also follow eBay standards and put a note in the item before shipping that if you're unhappy please let us know. We want our customers to be satisfied.
Again, thank you.

·3 years agoWhile I agree with @chapeau-noir & I also don't sell below a certain threshold, I will also respectfully say take another look at your shirt. Yes, it IS a burnout knit, so the worn look is intentional, BUT take a particular look at the white sections under the arms, on the back of the neck & below the underarms. See how much whiter it is than the rest of the burnout? That appears to be wear. That shirt looks to have a fair amount of wear that is not a part of the way it was made & it's evident by the white that only appears in those areas that are known to wear first on a t-shirt (armpits & below, back of neck). The Faux wear that burnout is supposed to imitate, is generally pretty even in color throughout. Not always, there are brands that create faux wear unevenly to actually look like real wear, but those are usually premium, designer brands (as weird as that sounds), not run of the mill t-shirts.
As a comparison, look at your heather gray (it's called heather, not brindle) Mickey Mouse tee. See how the coloring is even throughout? That one is not a slub or burnout knit, but you can still see the difference.
Sorry for the bad news, but I do think that was severe thinning of the fabric in those places & that's why it looks so white there. They absolutely should have contacted you first & it's true you may be able to get it removed, but honestly it looks to me like the buyer was right in this case. I'm sure however it was not intentional on your part.

OP3 years agoThank you! I will try and I totally agree with what you said. 90% of our buyers have been best offer the last 3 months or low ball bids. Its been very hard to keep our chin up at times. But, we're very grateful for all we accomplish. Thank you for your wonderful advice.
We appreciate it very much!

P.S. love the saying about the village. It totally hits home.

·3 years agoThe individual reviewed the product, not the transaction, so you may be able to get it removed for that.
Anyway, it always seems to be the cheapskates buying really cheap items - they want the world for a dollar. It's why I have a threshold below which I will not list anything.
Don't worry about the 100% FB rating, it's not counted as a metric. See if you can get the neg removed, though.

OP3 years agoNope, the buyer would not reply or contact us. eBay did not take down the review or do anything. Just closed the case. So, anyway we're keeping our chin up and keep going.
Thank you for your positive help.
