USPS marked my item as Delivered, but my freight forwarder (Postcargo) claims they never received it
Hi everyone,
I ordered a PlayStation 4 from a seller on eBay and shipped it to my freight forwarding address in the U.S. (provided by Postcargo). The tracking number from USPS shows the package was delivered on **July 14**, but Postcargo says they haven’t received anything.
I have already opened a dispute on eBay, but I’m very confused. The same issue is now happening with **five more packages** sent to the same address — all marked as delivered (on July 16 and 17 and 18), yet the freight forwarder has no record of them.
I called Postcargo, and they keep saying they are “investigating,†but it’s been several days. They also told me it might have been delivered to a neighbor or wrong address.and they said that USPS often does not deliver to the correct address or leaves the package unattended. When I track it, there is no signature or name of who it was delivered to. It just says it was delivered.
Has anyone else experienced similar problems when shipping to a U.S.-based freight forwarder? Should I trust USPS tracking as final proof? What else can I do if the forwarding company isn’t taking responsibility?
Any advice is really appreciated. I feel completely stuck and don’t want to lose my money.
Thank you in advance.

If your purchases are all from the same seller, you could be the victim of the fake tracking scam used by sellers.
If the purchases are from different sellers, then the problem appears to be with your freight forwarder.
If the purchases are all showing as "delivered", opening Item Not Received cases with eBay will not help if the sellers answer the cases with tracking that shows as delivered. EBay will side with the sellers.

·1 year agoThis sounds like it totally on your forwarding company. If USPS shows them as delivered, they were delivered. You should be hounding them on it. Check the fine print of their terms to see if there's any kind of recourse when they lose something. Did you check their reviews to see if this is a common problem with this company? Not all FF's are particularly reputable..
BTW, use of a freight forwarding service voids your MBG coverage on eBay.
