I learned this the other day.
While searching active listing titles in your seller hub, the search is plural sensitive.
If you search for "widget" it will not find "widgets".
If you search for "widgets" it will not find "widget".
I found that kind of strange.

·1 week agoI recall it’s been like this for as far as I can remember. I always thought it was the same reasoning why a listing with “sweatshirt” in the title wouldn’t hit as a result if you just searched “sweat shirt”. This was before eBay’s crazy algorithms, before Cassini. I’d always waste title characters with singular and plural versions of a word and compound words along with their separated forms.

·1 week agoWe should be pointing out more stuff like this^ when someone calls us cheerleaders for not believing eBay is using an algorithm to destroy small sellers. Most of this site is held together with Y2K tech and Flex Tape.

·1 week agoI noticed that years ago. You can enter (Widget,Widgets) into the search box to get the combined results.
