I know when I went back to college back in 2009 or so, I had to wait and see what book was being used in class (and what edition) before I did anything. As @susanb1872 said, these are updated every few years.
Colleges are all different, as well, so some of these titles may not even be used at all. And if they are indeed 16 or 17 years old, they ARE most probably outdated. So you may be looking at a special niche buyer

Some truly vintage textbooks can sell, slowly. But as noted above, older textbooks that have more recent editions that students will need are not easy sells. My rule of thumb is that if it has a glossy front cover it will probably be somewhat recent but will have been revised and is thus not worth buying for resell.
Look how different this listing appears for the same book you are selling. It's because they used the ISBN and a spectacular number of item specifics were filled in.

Here is one typo: Concepts of Engineering should be Concepts IN Engineering.

i just looked at your listings and you have the same Chemistry book listed twice. One for 19.00 and the same book for 15.00 right below it. Now if you go down below by your description someone else who also is using the same photo as you is selling it for $4.83. Think all this should answer your questions. You really need to just look at your listings and you'll see what you are doing wrong. Proof reading is a beautiful thing. Someone with low feedback isn't going to sell something for more than someone who has alot of feedback. Make some changes and you might do better' Appears that everyone is trying to sell text books right now, so there is a lot of competition.

Classes start in less than a month and media mail can be super slow. Other than that, you are a brand new seller with not many listings and they are specific. Patience. Not everything sells.
Could they be outdated and updated editions out now? I clicked on a couple of your listings and they show 2007 and 2008 publication years in the item descriptions.
I would also show pictures of the title and copyright pages and back cover as well
