US Supreme Court has ruled that import tariffs unlawful-evidence of eBay.com's crimes
Due to illegal tariffs, eBay.com created an AI tool that determines a false rating - BBE, based on cancellations of European sellers to ship to the US. In this sense, eBay.com's actions with account restrictions and illegal withholding of funds by eBay are also illegal.
''We’re sharing an update that may be relevant if you're selling to US buyers.
The US Supreme Court has ruled that import tariffs imposed under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) were not valid. These tariffs are no longer being applied.''
Illegal actions by the US government are not a prerequisite for BBE, therefore eBay.com has no right to cause financial damages due to illegal tariffs that have caused obstruction of global trade. In this case, eBay.com owes compensation to all EU sellers! Personally to me, eBay.com owes me 276.34 € . Account recovery! eBay.com has caused huge financial losses to all EU sellers! When harm is caused, compensation is due! This harm was caused by eBay Corporation! Just like the US government is obligated to restore everything, so is eBay, as the restrictions were unfounded. It is not a privilege to be on eBay because we support them financially! If it weren't for the consumers' money. eBay would not exist!

·6 months agoIf you could not provide the level of service required to meet Ebay's requirements to US buyers, you should have ceased selling to US buyers before Ebay blocked you for BBE.
You are not wanted on this site. Ebay's customers found out before Ebay did. You lack the desire to meet your contractual obligations and to provide adequate customer service. Unfortunately, Ebay only discovers this after you have disappointed its buyers.
Find some Bulgarians who want what you can sell, can afford it, and are willing to buy from the likes of you.

It's like Groundhog Day with the OP.
The tariffs are back. They were back 12 hours after the Supreme Court finding. They're not going anywhere. Accept it and move on.

·6 months agoLOL...if you are a Bulgarian seller, ebay owes you nothing. The tariffs you are talking about have been paid by the US buyers/importers and they should be reimbursed, not the sellers.
And if you are a buyer, buying something from a non-EU country, you pay VAT tax 20% (+ duties above a certain purchase amount). In this case, complain to EU for taxing you and demand they refund you what you paid in taxes and caused damaged to you as a consumer.

OP6 months agoThank you for the above US sellers showing their extreme inadequacy! No, it's not about fees, as they are automatically deducted by eBay after each sale! And about the value of items, I bought them, not eBay.com. As for another very stupid comment from another seller - to clean up my own house, the whole world knows and sees how the US "cleans" by exterminating other peoples.

·6 months ago@vintage-shop-teota Well why are you telling us U.S. sellers instead of calling the cops?

·6 months agoBefore you toss stones at the US, hows that glass house called the UK & EU working for you & your privileges? Clean up your own house first before you try & play international politics with your entitlement to things you clearly do not understand the definitions of.

·6 months agoThe BBE Policy has been around far longer than the tariffs and has nothing to do with them.
It’s not illegal, nor are you entitled to sell on eBay. Your sales resulted in too many bad buyer experiences for eBay’s standards, and regardless of whose fault that was or whether it is fair, they are allowed to remove your selling privileges.

OP6 months agoWhat a nonsense! Since I pay, I should also get what I pay for! Almost all countries around the world have stopped shipping to the USA due to illegal actions of the American government. And eBay.com. sanctions all European sellers due to illegal actions on the American side. And another incredible stupidity : they are allowed to remove your selling privileges. - eBay takes away privileges due to illegal actions of the US!
jonathanbrightlight
·6 months agoI’ve seen your entitled attitude before, but what you’re claiming is actually what is nonsense.
eBay is a private US company. Selling on eBay is not a right, and they have the right to restrict or remove any user for any reason or no reason at all. Find another place to go, if eBay says they don’t want to do business with you.

You just admitted it yourself: "they are allowed to remove your selling privileges." Selling here on eBay is indeed a privilege. It is NOT a protected right to which you think you are entitled.
Cheers, Duffy

·6 months agoIt's Ebays site and they can suspend your selling privileges anytime they want to.

·6 months agoBonjour,
Sorry to contradict you, but international trade requires us to be attentive to what is happening at this level and to react immediately: at the end of August, I withdrew all my listings whose value did not justify the higher shipping costs charged by freight forwarders and increased the price of the others accordingly. Similarly, last week I excluded the entire Middle East from my list of destinations. What happens in other countries is none of our business, and we just have to adapt or find another line of work!

·6 months agoWhenever I begin to be frustrated with President Trump, people like you come around and remind me of how great the United State of America is. I'm a proud American. I'm a blessed American. America is the best country on Earth. The Best. Period. And, by the way, America was still the best country under Joe Biden. In fact, America is so good, a priviate company is free to ban whomever they want without the goverment putting their nose in it like some other countries.
