Urgent: Request for Manual Account Review & Restriction Removal - 17-Year Veteran Seller (trade*boy)
Summary: The original post initiates a request for a manual account review and restriction removal for an individual who has been a veteran seller for 17 years, under the username trade*boy. Multiple participants, identifying as jonathanbrightlight, caldreamer, soh.maryl, tarotfindsandmore, tobaccocardyahoo, bashort, luckythewinner, and ten_o_nine, appear to have responded, although none of their responses contain any content. The thread's subject suggests urgency in addressing account restrictions for the longstanding seller.
Hi team,
I am writing to formally request a manual review of my account, 'trade*boy', and the immediate removal of the recent restriction on high-value listings. I am not looking to be redirected to another support ticket; I am seeking a resolution.
I have been a dedicated seller on eBay since 2009 with a 100% positive feedback track record. My history speaks for itself-I am a low-risk, highly professional seller who runs a legitimate art gallery in Tel Aviv. My business is built on trust, and I take pride in the quality of the Israeli art I bring to the eBay community.
The current automated restrictions do not reflect my 17 years of operational integrity. I have my business documentation, verified sales history, and shipping protocols ready for a manual audit. I am asking for the Trust & Safety team to review my account manually and restore my selling capabilities to their previous state.
I am committed to continuing my long-term partnership with eBay and want to resolve this error so I can return to providing my customers with the high-quality items they expect.
Thank you for your time and professional attention to this matter.

Hi 'trade*boy',
No account related requests should be posted here, this is like a chatroom, no one here has access to your account to do a manual review. Call or write customer service to resolve this issue.

If you paid for the use of it, seek a refund.
Ebay is constantly tightening measures aimed at increasing trust and safety. Some fine sellers are being hurt because these measures help the greater good but undermine the seller's business strategy. This is not surprising to Ebay or to any disinterested party.
Find another way to meet your business goals because your interests and Ebay's are not the same.

·3 months agoIs it possible the restriction has anything to do with this?

Alternately, I know the the ebay International Shipping program does not currently support delivery to Israel from the US because of carrier limitations resulting from the war. If you're a low volume seller, ebay may be restricting your sale of high ticket items to protect both you and the platform.

·3 months ago1. You've not made it clear what your problem is.
2. Don't believe there is such a thing as "manual review", and even if there were, no one here could offer it.
3. Best of luck in resolving your problem.

·3 months agoThere's no manual review, nor is this the way to get help with this type of issue.
You may have been told you need an Account Manager in order to list items over $500, in which case follow the instructions given to you in that message (which do not involve posting on a public forum).
If not, feel free to post the message you did receive (without any personal details included) and we can help you figure out what, if anything, you can do.
