Urgent: eBaymag account stuck in database (Authorization Loop) - Need escalation
Summary: galerie_e is seeking assistance to resolve an issue with eBaymag, where their account deletion seems to have failed, causing an authorization loop when attempting to register again. They seek a moderator to escalate the issue to the eBaymag technical team. mam98031 suggests contacting eBay directly through various customer service channels, including social media and phone support, noting that availability may vary.
Hello,
I am looking for a moderator who can please escalate an issue to the eBaymag technical/integration team.
Regular eBay Support told me they cannot access the eBaymag database because it is a separate entity. Also, the eBaymag support email (support@ebaymag.com) returned an automated message saying it is unmonitored, and I cannot use the "Feedback" widget on their site because I am completely locked out of the dashboard.
The Issue: I deleted my eBaymag account associated with my store (Galerie_E) and waited the mandatory 7 days to start fresh. However, the automated deletion seems to have failed on eBaymag's backend, and my ID is still locked in their database.
When I try to register now, I get stuck in an endless loop:
eBay successfully prompts me to grant third-party permissions to eBaymag.
I click "Agree and continue" and get redirected back to eBaymag.
eBaymag rejects the connection with this error: "You tried to register in eBaymag with an eBay account that has already been registered before by an existing eBaymag user."
I have already tried revoking third-party access from my eBay Account Settings > Sign in and security, but the loop persists. The token generation on eBay's side works perfectly, but eBaymag's database still sees my old ID and blocks the new registration.
Could a moderator please escalate this to the eBaymag tech team so they can manually purge or unlink my eBay ID from their system?
Thank you in advance for your help.

Not all these options will be available to you due to your location.
At the top and bottom of every page in Ebay are links to contact Customer Service.
Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service. Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is. Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message. It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.

Your options will be on the left. If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT or ask an Agent to call you, in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options. Not all options are available 24/7. It will depend on staffing available. So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me. If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.
If you use a cell phone or other mobile device, you may need to turn off your Spam filter so that Ebay can call you.
If you are a seller outside of the US or Canada, you will need to use the Chat Option.

From this link you can request Ebay to call you in the USA. The option is available when Staff is available to respond, so NOT 24/7/365.
