Unexpected offers
How do I handle an offer from a buyer when I didn’t click to enable offers on that item? I want to accept it but not sure how that can happen.

Let them know the price has been reduced but it is available on a first come, first served basis.
In the past, I have created reserved listings for a buyer. I make the necessary changes, then message my buyer the item # so they may go directly to the listing. I also told them I could only hold the item for 24 hours.

Did the offer come through eBay messages? If so, there is often a link by the message where you can "send offer". You send the offer at the amount you want to accept and the buyer takes it from there.
Sometimes that link doesn't appear (I don't know why), so in that case I just change the price on the listing itself and send the buyer a message that I changed the listing to the amount of his offer so he can buy it directly through that.
