Unable to Contact Buyer
I'm trying to contact a buyer for a payment and when I click "Contact Buyer" I get the following error message: Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later.
Anyone know why this could be? Thanks!

I don't see any active or completed listings on your account. Did you use a different account to sell your item?
How long ago did you "sell" the item?
Was it an item on which you either sent an offer or the buyer made an offer?
Please post the item number so we can see if it's showing as sold.

·1 year agoI used to be able to contact a buyer to let them know that I mailed the item they purchased.I can no longer do that. Ebay's comment is all about selling outside of ebay.

Unless you’re combining multiple wins for one buyer, there is no reason to contact your buyer. eBay sends them an invoice after the sale and they send a reminder to pay as well.
96 hours after it sells, you will be given the option to cancel because of nonpayment. Before the 96 hours mark, there is no option to cancel for nonpayment.

·1 year agoWhat? There can be plenty of reasons to contact a buyer!
1. Trying to determine if they have received an item when USPS tracking shows after a MONTH that it hasn't,
2. Encourage to leave feedback to boost a low feedback score,
3. To determine that a buyer has paid (or not paid), and in what method (could be hiccups on different payment sites) on an item when ebay shows differently,
4. To add a personal, more human touch, such as a thank you, or a follow-up to a question....
5. ETC, etc....

1. Trying to determine if they have received an item when USPS tracking shows after a MONTH that it hasn't,
Might be a bad idea to open that can of worms..
2. Encourage to leave feedback to boost a low feedback score,
Might be a terrible idea.. "Here's the FB you bugged me for" leave well enough alone.
3. To determine that a buyer has paid (or not paid), and in what method (could be hiccups on different payment sites) on an item when ebay shows differently,
Not likely.. I have never heard of this.
4. To add a personal, more human touch, such as a thank you, or a follow-up to a question....
Ok maybe this...
5. ETC, etc....
