Unable to Change Currency to USD on eBay

Question

I searched for an item on eBay, but I’m unable to view the prices in USD. Even though I tried to change or convert the currency, there doesn’t seem to be an option available. The prices keep showing in THB.

I also followed the instructions others suggested on how to change the currency, but it still didn’t work.

I managed to fix the issue myself on my iphone. I could not figure it out on the computer. On the app, go to My eBay, scroll down to account ~ settings. Under General, change country or region to the USA. That fixed it for me. I hope it works for you! Now when I look at the customize drop down, it says convert prices to US $ even though it is in US $ now. Makes no sense, but I'm glad I can see it the way it is supposed to be.

When want to see US prices, from here in Canada, I change my address on dotCOM to United States 90210. That way eBay thinks I am in California.

Don't phone eBay-- make them phone you .

That way you will speak to someone paid by eBay and not by a subcontractor based in Utah.

If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options. Not all options are available 24/7. It will depend on staffing available. So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me. If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later. 
The social media Chat accounts are covered by trained eBay employees with some authority.
And you get a transcript so you can compare what you heard with what you were told.

I'm having the same issue. I live in Canada, but have sold on ebay.com for 27 years and this has never happened. When I try to change the currency, the only available box to check is Canadian, but it has switched to Canadian currency on its own. There is no box that says US $ currency. This just started happening today. When I click on an individual listing, the price is in US $, but not on the search page. I use Google Chrome, but this was also happening on Microsoft edge. Very frustrating, as all of my research recorded for future listings, was based on the US price. I'm hoping it's just a glitch. Anyone know how to speak to a "live" agent?

I believe when you create your listing and show Thai currency, that EBAY automatically converts price to US dollars when viewing item from the United States. I am viewing your items here in the United States and I can see prices in US dollars.
