TRS and TRS+ Not Showing On Listings
I lost TRS and TRS+ due to one bad shipment, but gained the TRS back in a month on April 20 per my metrics. I don't see a shield on my listings or in my store. Is it normal to have a delay in displaying the TRS/TRS+ badges, or am I somehow looking in the wrong places?

·2 years agoI don't think it's possible to lose TRS due to 1 bad transaction.
That transaction might have set you over the edge, but it wasn't from it only.

OP2 years agoSorry, I wasn't perfectly clear - I had about 6 transactions (postcards) in one package.

·2 years agoThat still would not have cause it unless there were other problematic transactions too because that was ONE buyer for those 6 transactions. Ebay doesn't allow one buyer to cause that much havoc on a seller.

OP2 years agoI didn't lose it due to buyer havoc, but due to the lack of a tracking number. In this case the same tracking number 6 times, one for each transaction (order).

·2 years agoit wouldn't matter if the buyer purchased 25 items from you. In the evaluation of the stats, a single buyer even with 25 transactions is counted ONCE.
Fabric Revolutions – small business
Fabric Revolutions is a popular handcraft store on eBay with a lot of loyal customers. One day the manager found a damaged bolt of fabric but didn't get a chance to update their listing until the following day. In the meantime, two buyers had bought from the listing. One was the coordinator of a virtual sewing club, so they had placed multiple orders to be sent separately to each of their participants.
Evaluation period

Cases closed without seller resolution

This is less than 2, and less than 0.3% of transactions.
Transaction defect rate
2.5%
(25 of 1,000 transactions)
Unique buyers: 2
Although this is more than 2% of transactions, it doesn't affect the seller rating because there are fewer than 4 buyers involved.

(8 of 1,000 transactions)
There are no minimum requirements for late shipment rate.

OP2 years agoI hear what you are saying, but this was 6 transactions to a single domestic buyer in one envelope. The metrics in seller hub clearly shows that I am now TRS+ (only lost for one month) and all other metrics besides uploading tracking numbers are 100 percent or 0 percent as appropriate after this December incident. I can't reconcile this with claimed eBay policies. This particular incident is now history though.

·2 years agoAgain it doesn't matter. ONE buyer can not have that dramatic of an affect on ANY seller's account. I gave you the policy on this, so I'm unsure why you are confused still. Did the policy not make sense to you?
The Seller Dashboard [linked below] that appears in your Seller Hub will tell you how many LISTINGS you have that qualify for TRS+. That info is at the very bottom of the page.

TRS+ is NOT a seller's status. TRS+ is a listing designation that allow the seller to get a 10% discount on their FVFs. TRS+ is NOT a seller's status. TRS is the status and you can be TRS and not have any listings that qualify for TRS+. At the top of the Seller Dashboard, link above, will tell you what your Seller level is.
TRS = Top Rated Seller.

·2 years agoYou are absolutely correct. No one transaction can cause the loss of TRS.

·2 years agoI see the TRS+ on the first page of your "See Other Items" on all your listings.....
and the 2nd page.....
and the 3rd page......
and the 4th page....

OP2 years agoThat seems strange but it's good that it is there. Thanks for checking!

·2 years agoNo I can't see the Buyer TRS badge on the listings.

Looking at some of your merchandise & feedback, a lot of it may not be able to be sold in other countries, due to customs regulations & that may be why they did not receive their items. 95% feedback is not considered good on eBay and perhaps that's why you are not TRS.
Good luck

OP2 years agoI am again TRS after one month in purgatory. I don't think feedback has any bearing on performance, but mine seems to be 100 percent. Where did you see 95? And the domestic buyer did indeed receive the items on time, without a tracking number.

·2 years agoThe 95% feedback belongs to another member who has joined this thread, @best-deal-supplies
kds99
OP2 years agoOh - thanks!
best-deal-supplies
·2 years agoThere are many seller holding 91% Feedback and they have a TRS badge on their listing. I am a TRS you shared my profile Image in your another reply with TOP rated seller mentioned but its not showing in my listing thats the problem.
nobody*s_perfect
·2 years agoThere is no badge for TRS status for listings in the US. The badge for TRS was eliminated when eBay introduced TR-Plus. You do not have the TR-Plus badge on your listings because they do not offer 30-day free returns.
kds99
OP2 years agoI think 100 percent of my listings that are not Local Pickup Only do have free 30-day returns (domestic). I eyeballed each listing that does not have TRS. I could have missed a few. Where do you see otherwise? Not trying to be argumentative, but just understand what is going on.
nobody*s_perfect
·2 years agoI see otherwise in the listings of another member, best-deal-supplies, who has entered the thread and kinda confused the issue. On your listings I see free shipping and TR-Plus badge.
To make the thread and responses less confusing, take note of the "in response to" line at the top of each post.

·2 years agoFYI TRS badge is still existed
nobody*s_perfect
·2 years agoNot in the US site.

·2 years agoI checked one of your listings, and it said that "Buyer pays return shipping." To show the TR-Plus badge on a listing, the seller must offer 30-day free returns. You might also want to check up on the specifics for international sales.

·2 years agoThey also have some that have a no return policy, which also doesn't qualify for TRS+.
kds99
OP2 years agoThanks - I'll check for listings without a return policy.
mam98031
·2 years agoThey have a return policy. It is just you have it set up as a No Return Policy, that is an actual policy but does not qualify the listing to be TRS+.
kds99
OP2 years agoThanks for clarifying, I have eyeballed ALL the listings without TRS and have seen NONE that are missing 30 days return, buyer pays. Can you provide an example listing where this problem might exist? Listings I found a problem with had 3 day shipping which I now changed to 1 day. I'm making progress!
kds99
OP2 years agoBut it was a domestic buyer. I will check to see if any are missing 30-day free returns. Thanks!
kds99
OP2 years agoI can see them today.
