EBAY has new "easy to read" 1-page report that shows YTD totals for (orders, refunds, EBAY fees, shipping expense). Go to Payments, Reports, REPORTS (NEW) enter dates 1/1/2022 12/31/2022
You must report "gross sales" (shown as ORDERS on this report). Then subtract (Refunds, EBAY fees, shipping expense). Also deduct other expenses (mileage, cost of goods, packing materials, office supplies). Any expense related to your business is tax deductible on Schedule C of "business tax" form.
Taxes are paid on "net amount" after all expenses deducted.

One way to see some stuff.
I go to the "sellers hub" >
Hover on "'performance">
Click on "sales">
screen opens showing my sales..... sales tax handed by eBay ...... fees (selling and labels) .... net
(you can choose the time frame viewed) (month, year, custom) (in my sample, I chose just 1 day)
Scrolling down will show a breakdown of eBay fees vs. labels purchased on eBay
(if you purchase shipping elsewhere you will need to get those #'s, as eBay does not have them)
Here is another suggested in another thread.

·3 years agoAre you suggesting that our payments are actually our total sales minus eBay's fees?

·3 years ago@hartungcards I'm not 'suggesting' anything. I 'stated' a question.
If the OP clicks on Payments> All transactions, she will see the fees charged.
🙄
BTW - I LOVE your cat postcards! Especially the hospital one 😺
