Top Rated Seller status for Good Sellers with Lower sales rate
I seem doomed to never being a Top-Rated seller because I don't sell a ton of items. But rate high on all other factors. This should be corrected so that loyal small sellers get better satus.

·2 years agoI too do not sell tons of items. The policy is ridiculous. Top Rated implies that you're an honest trust worthy seller to be relied on by the buyer. We were doing fine meeting all requirements until the economy went south. Our items are not necessities so sales fell with the economy. If you do everything right based on ship time packaging ect. treating the customer well they should not take away status. Money and sales should not even be a factor. The geniuses making policy need to reconsider before there are no top rated sellers left. And while I'm at it if they were not so greedy taking 14% of the purchase on average we could lower our price and sell more perhaps regaining top rated status. Even God only asks 10% On most sales after cost, shipping, and ebay fees I'm lucky if I make 2 or 3 % . I guess If I want top status back I suppose I should just list all items free and only charge for shipping. Its true sales would increase but only if I eat the cost of the item and all the time involved in photos listing and packaging. Rant over. Signed... Frustrated
