Top Rated Seller Plus vs Top Rated Seller
Hi,
I am trying to get the 10% off of the final value fee which I think only comes when you get to "TOP RATED SELLER PLUS". I have already been a TOP RATED SELLER but I never considered the "PLUS" level until recently. I tried changing to "ONE DAY HANDLING" and "30 DAY RETURNS, BUYER PAYS" but my seller rating on the SELLER DASHBOARD still shows only TOP RATED but I don't see the PLUS liked I expected. I have over 1800+ listings so I had to bulk edit all those listings.
Unless I can be certain, I am saving 10% on the final value fees, I do not want to offer 30 day returns.
Do I have to wait for an evaluation period to change from TOP RATED to TOP RATED PLUS? Does it happen immediately? How can I confirm that a listing is considered as a PLUS listing?

·1 year agoPrior to 2008 i busted my but to be top rated plus in addition to all of the other programs e bay came out with. I burned out quick. Stopped selling for 2 years. I came back in 2010 and went to 3 day shipping, buyer pays. Never felt better. Until this year I did not see any decline in sales. THis year it seems I can't give stuff away. But that is on me as I have not been listing as much as I should. Need to get my game on quick!!

·2 years agoWhile on the chat for over an hour, transferred to 5 or 6 different reps, I got kicked out of my online account and forced to change my password in order to login. Maybe a coincidence... maybe not... as I said it doesn't seem legal if there is no written information about local pickup and the TRS plus discount.

·2 years agoI've just been informed by ebay agent chat that I cannot get the plus discount if I offer local pickup. Nowhere can I find this online. Anyone have this issue?

·2 years agoFrom the Help page about seller performance standards and TRS benefits, linked in post #2 above. You have to expand the section for "See the full list of circumstances where the discount benefit applies".

·2 years agoHi, I just call Ebay and the lady went to talk to the Top Rated people, they said they were going to move me up to Plus, we will see.
I did not read all the replies, but this is a true story.

You're items qualify for "Top Rated Plus" benefits.
The plus side of TRS+ is better search placement, and if you like to ship fast, same day/1 day handling time. I ship same day, so it wouldn't matter for me either way.

·2 years agoCustomer support will say whatever it takes to get you off the phone.
One more time: TR-Plus is a listing status, not a seller status. There is no such thing as a Top Rated Plus seller. If you want to see TR-Plus on your listings, then you have to offer free returns. Not "buyer pays" or "No returns."

·2 years agoI don't know about you, but that TOP rated seller designation changes. I can go from TOP rated to "below selling standards" and lose the TOP rated.
EB is ridiculously unfair and confusing.

·2 years agoIMHO it is not that confusing really.
A seller's status can be "Below Standard", "Above Standard", or "Top Rated".
A seller's status is evaluated every month on the 20th of the month, based on metrics that are clearly described and shown in the Seller Hub.
A "Top Rated" seller can make a listing a "Top Rated Plus" listing by also meeting the "Top Rated Plus" criteria in that listing (one day handling and free 30 day returns).

·2 years agoTR-Plus is a rating given to individual listings which offer 30-day free returns, i.e., seller pays. You can't get the TR-Plus badge if you have 'Buyer pays" for returns.
