Top Rated Seller Discount missing

I reached out to eBay's chat agent last week on the 8th of july 2026 and explained I have several items (42) sold that were missing the top rated seller discount of 10% off of seller fees. They assured me that it was a glitch as I have no bad seller metrics, no other issues to take the discount away. Also it is random because some same type items in the same categories have it and some dont. Also some multiple item sales dont have it but the same item purchased in singles do have it. They said thet would have it fixed, fees credited back to me, and all future sales fixed in 3 business days and they would respond to me with the fix. Today marks day 8 or 6 business days taking out the weekend and nothing has been fixed and no one has responded back to me on it. I still have sales daily that have or dont have the discount. I know it is not much sometimes but it all adds up if the system keeps stealing from me for a year, 2 years, etc. they were supposed to check my entire account to look for any missing. Anyone else have this issue and has it been fixed for you ? I tried chat again today and it only gives me the option to email them now and no live agent. I have a copy of the complete transcript of the chat with the specialist on the 8th.

The TRS discount only applies to listings where you offer free returns.

OP1 month agoeBay chat agent basically agreed that they were and said “ surely we can work this out and get your funds back without escalation to attorneys” his words not mine. I am a veteran seller for 20+ years here and have a pretty good handle on how to do things right.

·1 month agoIn order to receive the TRS + discount, you need to offer "free returns."
In looking at some of your sold listings, I saw some that have "buyer pays return shipping" and for those items, you don't get the discount.
Some examples:

If you didn't get the discount on the above (as well as similar items with the same return policy), that's not a glitch.

In your own words : “ I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.“ The listings you mentioned above did in fact receive the 10% discount even with the eBay glitch changing my set policies. See the screenshots here for proof. There was a confirmed glitch per ebays chat agent as he explained to me there was nothing in my listings done wrong by me that made me not receive the discount. I have always offered free returns and 1 day shipping and somehow it was changed on some not all of the listings after eBay’s glitch. I have corrected those that are still for sale that caught the glitch. The ones I didn’t receive the 10% on are all in specs with free returns and 1 day shipping handling. Some are the exact same listing where someone bought 1 lug bolt and I got the 10% and next day someone bought 8 lug bolts from same per piece listings and didn’t receive the discount.
