Better get used to it and adapt. It's predicted that AI is going to relplace many low level jobs including customer service at an accelerated rate as time goes by.
Companies that are publicly traded have to please shareholders and the bean counters are assigned to make that happen. Customer service is an easy target for them...........................
I find it to be very disappointing that we no longer have proper support for sellers, There are some issues that this board can not handle for sellers & it just leaves us unable to resolve certain issues,Just not proper for any big company to leave us hanging.
You have to open up a chat with the AI bot through the help menu, if it can't help you it will offer to have a C/S rep call you. Did it myself today. They called me in about 3-5 minutes.
I have not been able to have the AI bot have the option appear to have them call in sometime now, I don't understand how you were able to?, I alway's used that in the past but have not been able to lately.

Unfortunately I have found eBay chat to be very disappointing
