the email: We had a concern with a buyer’s account

I received the email at Today 3:05 pm

    contains

"We wanted to let you know that a bid for the listing below was canceled because of an issue with the buyer’s account:

    xxxxxxx

We understand that this must be disappointing, but unfortunately the buyer, CUSTOMER, is no longer registered on eBay so we had to cancel all of their open transactions.

    Here’s what you should do

    • Don’t complete the sale or ship the item to CUSTOMER-0 if you haven’t done so yet.
    • Don’t communicate any further with CUSTOMER-0, especially if they get in touch with you outside of eBay.
    • If CUSTOMER-0 requests a payment or refund, don’t send any money without contacting eBay first. If payment was processed, a refund has not been issued yet just in case you’ve already shipped the item.
    • If you already sent the item, contact the shipper to find out if you can stop the delivery and have the item returned to you.
    • If your listing has ended, you can relist your item.

but the order was sent at 18/2 because the system told me to send order before 19/2

so the parcel was sent out of the country and the shipper said they cannot get back

    What can I do?

    Will I get my money?

When you've followed through and shipped an order to the address provided by ebay, you won't lose the money. You did your part in accordance with policy and this is a case in which ebay has your back.

eBay says if you already sent the item, contact the shipper to find out if you can stop the delivery and have it returned.  Sounds like they paid with a stolen credit card where the payment was cancelled.

That is a HUGE leap with NO evidence whatsoever.

Ebay did NOT cancel the payment.  The seller still has the money.

if the seller has the money which they should because they shipped the item, E bay will NOT take the money from the seller unless something else happens.  IMO the only thing the buyer could do is file a claim with their credit card.

I have had no problem receiving the funds from ebay of such a problem.

But, I looked up what was sold...I saw it...and now it is not showing up...strange...was it a trading card?

There is a hold sometimes of a seller funds if the seller hasn't sold anything in 30 days on those funds which is separate from this issue.

Plus this is an account in Thailand...this is a USA board.

The removal of the sold listing would get removed when Ebay cancelled the transaction.  That is what they usually do and they also refund the seller their FVFs as well.  The OP should be able to see all of this in detail on the right side of their MP summary page.

    Yes and no.

When I had such a situation like the seller here a few times...the removal of the listing will happen on a computer.

But not on the eBay App on the iPhone.

I remember being able to still bring up the item sold after such situations a few times.

I wanted to know what was sold and what happened.

I wanted to know what about the buyer and such.

It's interesting how one can do something on the iPhone vs the computer.

I agree where a seller gets to keep the funds.

I was able to see what the seller sold and a few minutes later it disappeared.

I don't use the Ap, so I can't help with that one.

These types of emails are VERY scary if you've never gotten them before.  It is highly likely that everything is just fine.  I get a couple of these a year at least.  I've been selling for many years and not a single transaction was a problem.

Something on the buyer's account caused concern for Ebay safety.  That doesn't mean the buyer actually did something wrong as it often proves to be no big deal.  Please try not to worry.  I know that will be hard, but chances are everything is just fine.

You may want to reread the OP's entire post.  Including the last part this time.

I read the whole thing, thank you for your concern.  What I previously post is fine.  I've had these many times over the years.  Ebay does NOT take their money unless at a later date some kind of claim is filed by the buyer.
