the buyer cancel order being removed
I would like the buyer cancel order put back. I would rather the buyer canceled the order before I ship it then get it and ask for a return. From my experience Ebay will let buyers return most everything. The last item I had returned the reason was stated " I did not like the item" I did not think that was a reason to return an item but guess it was. I had to refund and pay return shipping. so I would rather buyer canceled the order before I ship for what ever reason. If the buyer changes his mind , and cant cancel then he will just return the item. Its a lot easier and cheaper on the seller to let the buyer cancel up front.

·4 months agoIf you don't want buyers to have remorse (changed mind, didn't like, does fit) reasons to return, you need to revise your listings and make them "no returns."
However you might have a buyer who feels strongly that they want to return an item and will file a NAD (not as described) claim. If they do that, you're on the hook for the full payment from the buyer, INCLUDING original shipping and you'll also have to pay for the return shipping label.
Understand that with your current return policy, in cases in which buyers choose remorse reasons, you aren't out anything other than your time required to resell the item. For everything else, you're made whole. IMO, it's a no-brainer!

You chose your return policy so buyers can return for ANY reason or for no reason.
Not liking the item is a legit and honest remorse return reason.
Your buyer did nothing wrong.
EDIT:
"I had to refund and pay return shipping"
Your return policy has buyers paying return shipping. If you paid it and issued a full refund, that's on you.
And since you charge separately for shipping, you aren't obligated to refund the original payment for shipping that the buyer paid. You can issue a refund for the item price only.
