Thank you eBay!
There’s been a lot of talk about feedback removal … we received a negative over Christmas weekend from a buyer whom we had answered her middle of the night rants and whom we had accepted her return request at the same time. Buyer stated they were too tight, didn’t fit. Her neg said she hates flares. Didn’t sell you flares, but okay.
Using feedback removal tool, we were denied removal because buyer didn’t violate policy’s. We had alway thought (and been told), because we accepted returns and are TRS+ we were protected from this sort of situation. After speaking to a very friendly rep about the above (who stated this wouldn’t hurt our account) we just chalked it up to how things are now and carried on, business as usual.
Fast forward a week, buyer finally returned item and we refunded her immediately.
Ebay then removed feedback without any further action on our part. We just needed to have a little patience and let it play out. Not an easy thing when sales are a bit slower and you have some big red mark at the top of your feedback page!
So they ARE protecting us in these situations, when as sellers we are doing all the right things and jumping through all the hoops. We just wanted to say to people maybe experiencing the same situation, once a return is favorably closed, eBay IS doing their part, removing neg feedback and we are hugely thankful for that!
Happy New Year 🎉

We have our shares of UPS and DOWNS.
I believe at this point in time, REAL PEOPLE are handling more sensitive matters pertaining to buyers and sellers on Ebay. Where it used to be ROBOTS, there are now REAL HUMAN BEING picking up messages, listening to buyers and sellers.
