Talking with ebay Instagram. Looking for any buzzwords
I have a buyer who intentionally filed a not as described return as wrong size sent to circumvent fees. Thru messages, he still sticks to his guns about ordering a Large (he actually ordered a Med) despite me providing a screen shot contradicting him. When asked to provide an order details screen shot of his own, he makes effort to give a shot that conveniently omits showing the color and size or provides a shot of my live listing page (with pulldown menus chosen to match his claim) trying to pass it off as an order detail page.
This is with one of my newer accounts so I was forced to register an IG account and speak with ebay there. They agreed to cover the return shipping postage and ding to my seller metrics. But they haven't agreed to cover the original shipping that I'm going to lose solely because the buyer filed a false SNAD.
Are there any tactics or buzzwords I can use to finally have ebay IG agree to courtesy credit me the original shipping or something for this? I tried asking them for tips on how I would avoid this in the future. And I mentioned this issue isn't subjective or a matter of buyer/seller opinion, it's a matter of fact that they've already concluded that the buyer should have rather filed a remorse. Any tips or suggestions from any of you. I promise I won't get defensive or shoot you down no matter how ridiculous your advice may be. Thanks in advance.
On that related note. I really wish ebay IS able to convert not as described returns into remorse when it's totally cut and dry that a return should be a remorse. Especially since ebay stopped allowing sellers to withhold any of the original shipping in a refund. Why isn't ebay able to do this again, what's the logic behind it? For my instance, buyer buys a Medium (easily confirmed in order details). Buyer files a not as described stating they originally chose and purchased a Large (easily disproved thru return details and/or ebay messages). That's basically it. Convert to remorse.
