suspended account
Dear eBay Community Members,
It is with regret that I inform you that my account has been suspended due to a fee for items not received, resulting from unfounded complaints from some customers. Since February 2023, I've had the privilege of making thousands of sales on this incredible online marketplace, and I'm proud to say that I've garnered exceptional feedback over that time.
Unfortunately, some of these complaints were made by customers who claimed that they had not received items or that items were missing from their orders, even though all shipments were made completely and within the established deadlines. In many cases, it became clear that customers simply changed their mind or tried to benefit from a situation that did not correspond to reality.
I understand the importance of trust and transparency in this e-commerce environment, and I am committed to maintaining the highest standards of customer service. My intention has always been to provide a positive and satisfying shopping experience for all of my customers, and I am willing to do whatever is necessary to resolve any issues that may arise.
I am currently actively seeking a way to resolve this situation and resume my selling activities on eBay. My sales are an essential part of my livelihood, and I depend on them to support my family and meet my financial obligations.
I would like to ask for the eBay community's understanding and support as I work to resolve this issue. If there is any guidance or resources available that can help me regain access to my account and resume my selling, I would be greatly appreciated.
I thank all of you for your attention and continued support.
Yours sincerely,Guilherme

Sorry for your troubles.
What made you believe the customers that claimed they never received their items were lying? All the buyers who had issues with their transactions were bogus claims?

·2 years agoSelling from Brazil...you should only sell within Brazil. Shipping to and from Brazil from another country can take a long time.

Unfortunately this is something you need to work out with eBay. No community member can help you get your account restored.
I wish you well with future career opportunities.

I don't think they were shipping from eBay. Probably why they were suspended.

How many complaints did you get, and how many did eBay step in and resolve?
some of these complaints were made by customers who claimed that they had not received items
Did you have delivery confirmation showing they were received, and did you provide that to eBay in the timeframe and manner that was required?
even though all shipments were made completely and within the established deadlines
Shipping within the deadline is not enough. You also need delivery confirmation showing it was delivered.
tried to benefit from a situation that did not correspond to reality
What does this mean?
I am willing to do whatever is necessary to resolve any issues that may arise
Were you willing to resolve the disputes and refund them promptly?

OP2 years agoDid you have delivery confirmation showing they were received, and did you provide that to eBay in the timeframe and manner that was required?
yes, my shipments were made via FedEx. and everyone had proof of delivery
tried to benefit from a situation that did not correspond to reality
What does this mean?
I will cite an example case:
There was a client who purchased a Brazilian hair dryer and complained that she needed an adapter to use it because the Brazilian plug standard is different from the US.
and I had it in the description explaining exactly that.
Were you willing to resolve the disputes and refund them promptly?
yes definitely.
In many of the complaints I received, I didn't even ask for a product back and immediately refunded the money to the buyer.

You would have won the dispute if you showed proof of delivery by the last estimated date for delivery.
If the item was delivered but late, we lose the dispute.
US-based sellers are also penalized when they have a Dispute filed, win or lose.
We non-US sellers do not seem to have that penalty. @kyle@ebay Is my belief correct?
There was a client who purchased a Brazilian hair dryer and complained that she needed an adapter to use it because the Brazilian plug standard is different from the US.

That's a Not As Described dispute, they were wrong, but unhappy.
EBay wants happy, repeat buyers.
As a seller you have two choices, send return shipping and refund on arrival or refund immediately.
Did you refuse to refund?
No Returns does not mean No Refunds, and if you refused to refund voluntarily, eBay refunded the customer, took their money from your pending payments, and gave you a Defect.

Hey @femmefan1946 am I correct that you're referring to Service Metrics? If so, Service Metrics are provided for several of eBay sites, including .ca. This is where you'll see how your metrics compare to your peers, with respect to how many returns or INR's are opened. You can check out this help page for more details and the full list of sites that are included.

·2 years agoEbay has imposed a new Bad Buyer Experience (BBE) metric on sellers outside the U.S.
Lost or late shipments have led to the loss of the ability to sell here.
Your explanation sounds like a BBE problem.
Ebay has a lingering reputational problem, and an increase in barriers to high risk sellers is long overdue.
To date, I am not aware of a seller who has been removed due to BBE posting that they were reinstated, let alone how. I doubt if it was by questioning the reliability of the buyers who claimed they did not receive their orders on time or at all.
Good luck.
