Sunday's Outage
I had 20 auctions ending Sunday Evening. I lost lots of bids due to the outage. I'm sure this happened to many of you too & think Ebay should have extended the auctions or at least waived fees. What do you think ?

·4 months agoGo to "Announcements" in your seller hub. Where it says "Intermittent Technical Issues and Seller Protections" click on that. Ebay tells you have an option to cancel the order.

·4 months agoThere is no way of you actually knowing if you lost bids, & I'm sure they would not extend auction times or waive any fees, Just list the unsold auctions again.

·4 months ago'extend the auctions'....Outage went on to a second day...and that second day 'item description' was not showing up on items listed...so extending the auctions would not have helped.
So, now we have those who might have made purchases on the second day of the outage never seeing 'item description'...however, item descriptions did return eventually especially after purchases were made.
I see a number of complaints from buyers coming our way.
'waived fees'...that would be a nice touch...but too much of a dream.

OP4 months agoJust saying Ebay should step up & do something, they do favor the buyers & there are many upset buyers who couldn't get their bids in

OP4 months agoI know for a fact from the people that complained their snipe bids didn't go through. I'm sure there were many others. Many wait until last minute to bid
