STRANGEST THING IN 18+ YEARS HAPPENED MONDAY!!!!!! ANYONE ELSE SEE THIS???????
I sold lot 15 old tennis balls Sun evening. $13.49 to a Woman in rural Vermont WITH 871 TRANSACTIONS. That night I print label etc and put in mailbox MON morning. Later MON evening, I be chillin at my crib and on desktop see I is got few more emails on EBAY I got nutin on my phone BTW No notification at all. One them emails was from EBAY saying they is cancelled a sale of mine?? Says "We had a concern with a buyer’s account"
I say what the F??? I is done printed label and its been picked up. I chatbot EBAY and he say little other everything taken care of & I is gonna get proceeds. If this a hacked account, what world they buy cheap used 10S balls??????? for $13 be like going Kroger and stealing head cabbage, instead of an expensive bottle of wine. Why GOOFUS EBAY wait so long and then just send email like regular spam junk?? I will have to keep an eye and see if I actually get paid. +++++ Now under that user with 871 transactions it say NO LONGER A REGISTER USER Anyone seen this???????????????

·2 years agoIt's happened to me more than once - no problems as upon evidence of shipment, eBay covered me. What's strange is that the several times that it happened it was not for anything pricey. ?

·2 years agoeBay's email is meant to stop you from shipping the item, but if you had shipped already, eBay would make you whole and let you keep the transaction money.
In cases like this if caught early, I would not ship so I can save eBay some money and hopefully they won't raise my fees for a while.

·2 years agoI agree... it's been years since I had a transaction go sideways like that, but I have some foggy recollection that I showed the tracking number as proof of shipping, and was able to keep the payment.

·2 years agoI have a buyer who uses a freight forwarder (to Saudi Arabia) that bids on my world coin auctions that keeps getting himself booted off eBay. Never had a problem. He paid for his stuff, I shipped it, eBay booted him and told me they cancelled the transaction, but I kept the money.
Sometimes eBay is a little over active in protecting our accounts that they cancel someone who isn't really a problem. I would say you'll probably get to keep the money. Don't panic, just watch your payments.

·2 years agoYeah, it happens from time to time. I've had it happen a few times. Fortunately I was able to catch all but one of them before I shipped. The one that I shipped before the cancellation, eBay covered it. I got paid.

·2 years agoSounds like a hijacked account, though I'm just as baffled as you are regarding their purchase choice. Sometimes, a scammer with a stolen credit card or a hijacked account will do a "test run" with a low-value transaction just to see if they can get away with it. In this case, I guess not.

·2 years agoHi. It sounds to me that your Buyer has been canceled. Probably insufficient funds. You might be out the $13 + s/h fees. You could contact Ebay, though it may not be worth the hassle. Good luck.
