Strange buyer accounts purchasing same item 9 times

Ive had some strange issues with buyer accounts purchasing the same item again and again. Whats strange is when looking at the buyers contact info on the orders detail page, every single one has their contact info email address associated with an @members.ebay.com email address. These are not new accounts, they have been active for a long time with plenty of feedback. But everyone of the items that I send out, get hung up in the USPS system for many many days, stuck at a random distribution center. Why are all of these getting stuck during the shipping process? And why does every buyer for this one particular item, have their email address associated with an @member.ebay.com email address? How is it possible to set up an account with that type of email address? Arent those addresses created only after an ebay account has been opened and meant for messaging other ebay members? But theres another reason why I'm curios about buyers with this email address. Back on May 18-19, I had the same thing happen from buyers with these particular email addresses only. 5 different buyers purchased the same item back to back to back etc, shipping to 5 different locations. All 5 were lost in the mail at different locations throughout the country! Each buyer contacted me on the same weekend asking where their item was, or they filed an item hasn't arrived case. How does that happen? Thats one heck of a coincidence. That whole weekend was so odd, as much more happened but thats another story. So now here we are again, with same thing happening. Ive got 9 orders for the same item, bought from buyers with an @member.ebay.com email address purchased back to back to back etc., that i shipped out yesterday and I suspect the same thing is gonna happen. 1 was purchased last week from a buyer in Indiana and it got hung up in Memphis for like a week. Because i was watching it daily, I just decided to go ahead and ship a replacement through UPS, and it was delivered 2 days later. And then all the sudden the one hung up in Memphis was also delivered that same day. Never got a message from the buyer. What is going on here? Has anyone else had this issue? Thanks

·1 week ago@re-bay_sales eBay gives the @members.com.ebay address to all buyers in transaction - it's for privacy (i.e., not divulging the actual address, but giving sellers and buyers a chance to communicate). Can't answer to the other coincidences, though (same items, getting delayed, etc.).

OP1 week agoBut every other order that i have, when viewing the contact info on the orders details page, has a normal email address, like gmail or outlook or any other address.

OP1 week agoIt looks like this is something new that ebay is doing to conceal email addresses with my account. Ive got many of screenshots showing a buyers actual email address on the order details page. I just emailed a buyer yesterday with a gmail address that was shown under his contact info, to remind them to check ebay messages for fitment verification. Ive done this quite often when a buyer doesnt reply to a message prior to shipping and they have all been thankful for reaching out to them. As for the other stuff, seems to be a coincidence and nothing more. Having aspergers doesnt help at all, especially communicating / explaining things properly. Takes a lot of time to get the proper words from my head to the screen.

Sellers are given the .ebay email for literally EVERY buyer...

OP1 week agoHow did you come to that conclusion? But to answer your question, No. The contact info i get from every other order besides these particular orders, are normally an address like gmail or outlook. If there is something that i'm overlooking or not understanding that your referring to, please let me know. I have Asperger's, making communication difficult and I often dont explain things very well or as easily as most people.

·1 week agoI have no idea how you would be able to see a buyer's actual email. We're talking on the 'Order Details' page right? All my current orders and 10 or so random ones from this week all show the ebay email. I've never seen anything but.

·1 week agoI've always only seen the ebay.com address for my buyers on the orders detail page similar to what bdmh-enterprises says.
IAC, it's the strange ordering pattern that I think is more significant here.

·1 week agoEvery order comes through with an @ebay email, it's part of GDPR protections (EU/UK at least). You can no longer see the buyers actual email.

·1 week agoIn case anybody is wondering where to see this email for a buyer, it appears you must be in Seller Hub mode, and under "order details" for an order there is a drop down for "show contact info". I don't usually have this mode on I never remembered seeing a buyer's email until looking into it just now.
