STOP WITH THE POP UP
I always format larger & bold.
It's easier read on mobile devices as long as you don't go so big the buyer has to scroll "forever," to read it
it works.
EVERY TIME I opt to reformat (on my desktop) ebay's pop up is in my face.
Why isn't there a preference to format without the pop up? Maybe a box to check off TO NOT SHOW ME THIS AGAIN.

But keep on playin' your pretend games, Ebay.
The real reason they do this, is because they don't want individual sellers to stick out and build up a 'brand' for themselves, as opposed to their own brand.

·3 years agoThis little pop-up annoyed me (my selling ID), too, for way too long.
Of course, I know that that "Buyers trust simple, consistent formatting."
Sometimes I do like to italicize words in my descriptions, and once in a rarer while I might highlight a word with a bright color in bold type.
Then I realized: "This message is not going away."
What I do now is just automatically click the "See more options" button. Saves me time and aggravation.

·3 years agoBecause eBay wants to discourage the use of HTML, colorful fonts, crazy layouts and all that.
I agree with you that there should be a "do not show me this again" box.
