Stained Lauren Ralph Lauren bedsheet buyer says
Sold a Lauren Ralph Lauren bedsheet On December 2nd and buyer received December 9th. Today I get a message and pictures saying sheet has "blood stains". I had washed this sheet and then photographed it in full before listing it. Trust me, the size and scope of these alleged stains were not there as they clearly would have shown in pictures. Today is January 16th so it has been over a month that the buyer has had these and now wants a refund ?
What would this group do?

·1 year agoReturns and refunds are for 30 days on day item was delivered.
Not an open claim...ghost the buyer.
I wouldn't respond to buyer's emails.
Remember, a buyer can open a claim after 30 days...doesn't mean you have to give a refund.
I had a silly buyer open a claim after 160 days...I responded to it and won.
Block the buyer of course.
Sounds like buyer had a bloody one nighter and is trying to get a refund from the event.

OP1 year agoWe do not accept returns but on a case by case basis we have in the past refunded for damaged items. Reading eBay policy it States that 30 days is the limit.

·1 year agoOh right. I forgot you mentioned they messaged you after 30 days received. It's a slam dunk right there even if the item did have the stain on there before the buyer opened it.
I would just politely tell them about the 30 day expiration. Even if they file a SNAD return ebay won't force you to accept it since it's after 30 days. If you ignore it, it will eventually time out and you won't get penalized. But you can decline it as well and ebay won't penalize you neither.
They can always come back with a payment dispute with their bank. So it's always wise to try and not burn bridges even if you plan on blocking them. What I even do sometimes before blocking them is in an "attempt" to make things right tell them that I'll give them 15% off for their next purchase with us. But that will never happen since they are blocked. Many blocked buyers aren't sure why they aren't able to buy and chalk it up to ebay glitches. Unlike in these boards, passive aggression is my friend in ebay.
