How do I contact eBay by phone? I cancelled an item I had for sale on 2/18/26, and now they say it has sold on 2/19/26. When I try to go through the system, it says I owe for the sale, but I haven't been paid. The buyer's funds are on hold. So why are they saying I owe? And giving me options to pay. I don't owe anything. I no longer have the product for sale.

·6 months agoI don't know how you "cancelled the item" but apparently you did not do something correctly because it remained for sale and someone bought it on Feb 19. You say you no longer have the item. If this is the case, you will need to cancel the sale as "out of stock" to refund the buyer's money and apologize to the buyer as they will probably be upset/disappointed to have their order cancelled.
You are a new seller and new sellers typically have the funds from sales held for about 30 days. This holding period lessens with selling experience.

The item sold from an active listing @ 4:12 a.m.
The buyer paid and the funds are on hold (since you are a new seller and that is procedure)
You can use those funds to print a label to ship your item though.....
