Sold watch, ebay forced refund, now buyer wont respond or send it back
Hi all,I sold a watch to someone. After he had it a week he claimed it was counterfeit which i knew it wasnt. he put in a return request, I asked ebay for help and they never responded then they put the refund through. Now he wont respond, hasnt sent the watch back. Its been a month. I cant get ebay customer service via chat or email. The only option is to have them call me but i can't hear to talk on the phone. Am i basically just screwed?

·3 months agoKen's response was both concise and correct. As to you being screwed, yes, BUT, by your misunderstanding of the return process. For the present and in the
future, do NOT stew over the situation; use it as a learning experience.

·3 months agoOnce a refund is issued, the customer can't get to the return shipping label if one was ever generated. You can try sending him a return shipping label in messages, but if he's not responding he's likely written you off and won't cooperate, and eBay has already made their decision.

OP3 months agoI did accept it eventually, they just never returned it and now i cant get through to ebay to report it and ask for help. Its like they just put the refund in and then closed it.

·3 months agoYou should have just accepted the return.
When you ask Ebay to help on a return, it never turns out good.
They refund the buyer from your account and let them keep the item.
