sold listing but wont be disappear because of pending offer to someone else. Do I just end it?
I listed an item and sent out some discount offers to potential buyers. One is pending because they haven't responded. Someone else purchased the item and I have packed it up for shipping. However the listing is still active with a quantity of 0. Is it safe to just end it? Will it affect the payment to me from the buyer who wanted it?
I tried researching about retracting an offer but I cant seem to figure out how to do it from the article. I had a potential buyer get up set recently because she accepted the offer but took a couple hours to pay and someone else swooped in and purchased it.

When a listing remains Active with a zero quantity, you have in your Site Preferences selection to use the Inventory option for OOS items. What that means is that when a listing sells out and has a zero quantity, it remains active for future inventory. Meaning at a later date you can revise the listing and add a quantity when you get more stock.
Sellers can see these Active listings with a Zero quantity available in their Seller Hub under Active Listings. However these listing do not show up in a Seller's store [if they have one] or in the searches a buyer can do on the site. Buyers do NOT see these listings until the seller updates the listing and adds inventory.
You ARE fine. No one can see the listing but you.

If your sold listing(s) show a quantity of 0 and stay active after you sell the item you may have the out of stock option enabled.
Go to your selling preferences page and in the multi quantity section make sure the -Listings stay active when you're out of stock - option is turned off.

·1 year agoYou can end the listing.
When the item sells all sent offers end.
Shows "0" quantity........... no one else can see it or purchase it.
