Sold item marked as delivered, buyers claims they never received, eBay just wants me to refund?
Sold a baseball card on June 16 and shipped using ebay standard envelope. Marked as delivered on June 21. On June 30, buyer contacts me indicating they never received the item and want their money back. Ebay doesn't care about the "delivered" status.
I guess what is the point of tracking if we are just at the whim of a buyer saying they didn't get the item? I know ebay standard envelope isn't a great system, but if they are going to offer it, why not stand behind it?

·1 year agoEBay does care about delivered status. Has the buyer opened an Item Not Received case or is the buyer just messaging you?
If the buyer opens a Item Not Received case, just confirm the tracking thru the case and you will not have to refund.
