Social Traffic is now NONEXISTENT - something changed in late feb
Summary: In a forum discussion initiated by sagethreds, users discuss issues with social traffic and visibility of eBay posts on platforms like Facebook. mcdougle4248 reports noticing similar issues and seeks help from my-cottage-books-and-antiques, who suggests checking on eBay and Facebook synchronization to rule out technical problems. my-cottage-books-and-antiques offers to manually check the visibility by interacting with the posts. Eventually, mcdougle4248 confirms that despite the interactions, there are no recorded Facebook visits, indicating a possible reporting or display issue with eBay's tracking system.
we follow a very structured posting cadence of 5 - 10 posts/day of different brands, item types, categories, etc. as you can see something changed in late feb and now traffic is non-existent. anybody else experience this?

My Social performance page has been updated. There are no FB visits recorded. So, at least from this small test, it seems there is a reporting or display issue.

·3 months agoCould it be that the the data is not syncing to ebay?
mcdougle4248
·3 months ago^^^ This is a possibility.

·3 months ago@mcdougle4248 PM me your facebook name and I'll go click on some of your ebay posts there, and then give it a couple days to synch up.....if you are still seeing no views, it's most likely a tech issue with the synching/reporting, not an issue with your social media posts being ignored....

·3 months agoI clicked the 8 most recent links...some were duplicate items, but I clicked anyway, not sure how ebay will count those....

·3 months agoDuplicate items? That is interesting. I only shared each item one time.

·3 months agoIt is possible your "advertising" has run its course... Meaning it has reached all the audience it is going to reach, and now your "postings" are just seen as radio noise. In the years past I have learned, advertising has an expiration... Any corner we chose to do our advertising has a limited audience and not only is the audience limited but this audience generally consists of all the same people from day to day, so after so long the advertising is no longer reaching new eyes. And those who have seen it have either grown accustomed to it, of course there are those who made purchases but their interest too is no longer being piqued by it so at this stage your advertising is being passed over.
That has been my experience, time and again, in more than one business.
