snap ring negitive
a brand-new buyer purchased a snap ring off of me and left a negative said its NOT round. all snap rings are round and are heat treated so he obviously lied. can i do anything to get the feedback lifted?

·8 months agoDid the buyer contact you about the issue prior to leaving the feedback?
If not, I would first recommend putting in a request through ebay to have it removed. Mention that the buyer never attempted to contact you nor did they open a return to send it back. A lot of times ebay will automatically remove feedback if the buyer never contacted you first with an issue.
If that doesnt work, then contact the buyer asking what the issue is and see what sort of resolution they are looking for. After you have attempted to resolve it, then ask if they would be willing to revise their feedback. Only once they have messaged that they will should you send them a revision request.
Not sure what the time frame is on getting feedback removed or revised, but I can see that its been past a month since the buyer has left this feedback.

·8 months agoIt's best practice when confronted with a negative is to try and resolve the issue with the buyer and then ask for a feedback revision. If that is not possible, then if you care to add to their feedback, it's a good idea to apologize and state that you attempted to resolve the problem as you don't want to appear to be a difficult seller.

Your reply to the buyer's feedback was not the best idea. It made you look bad. What difference does it make that he's a new buyer?
