Simply need report ebay, waiting shipping order num id sold price tax final fee and promotion fee.
Really simple or is ebay hiding the fees it isn't like we don't know they are there. but why can I not find a simple report for this?

·1 year agoYou can get a detailed report with all that info on 1 page (which may take 15 pages) but you have to tell the report what you want.

·1 year agoFor an individual sale have you tried the Order Details?
Or are you looking for a report of multiple sales? A transaction Report would show everything for every sale for the selected period.
This sample shows everything except the promotion fees, but that is because promotions were not use so there are not fees for it. It does not show shipping waiting because it was shipped. If it was not shipped then the Tracking Number would not be available.

It looks like you average about 15 sales a day.
That doesn't seem too onerous to me.

·1 year agoWe do this and we have more sales than that. It's definitely doable, it just takes a bit of time (but worth it).

·1 year agoI'm an accountant in my other life. I love checks and balances.
Back when I started some 25 years ago, I had my husband [I'm lucky, my Mr. Wonderful is an IT guy, he even builds & maintains my computer] build me a database in Microsoft Access. I enter ALL my sales and expenses in there for all avenues I sell on.
I also have a few Excel worksheets for detailed info I like to track for one reason or another.
All of this I compare at year end with the Marketplace reports to make sure the numbers are within reason.

·1 year agoI'd love to have ours in a database, and some of it is (we have an in-house custom inventory management system for our retail store), but it doesn't have the ability to store all the data we want to track for our eBay sales.
So, we have a Google Docs spreadsheet that is currently at 15,265 lines of data (one line per item listed) on the main tab, from which I periodically move items sold or removed over a year ago to keep the size down. We enter data in 17 columns (most when an item is listed, then others when it sells or is ended for any reason), so that means currently we actively use around 259,000 cells, and I actually have a number of other columns just on that tab that automatically calculate things like the week number an item was listed, the day of the week listed/sold, etc.
Then we have other tabs for tabulating data and letting us easily check things like weekly listings and sales, and for checking our list of active items against a downloaded list from eBay periodically (usually just catches user error).
It's a massive document, but of course it grew over time, we didn't create it that big. I just downloaded it as an Excel spreadsheet file just out of curiosity, and it was 10.3 MB, which isn't crazy.

·1 year agoThat would drive me crazy. Do you have an IT department / person? There are better ways of tracking all that data IMHO.

OP1 year agoNot only did I read it I wrote it. In hopes that ebay would see it. The values in the title are what I need in a report. You have to download two different csv reports to get this data. I is just as fast to manually enter the data if you have to process two. I need one report with those values. Simple really.

Seller Hub. Not to mention on the Orders, all that information is there.

Then if you are looking for reports that has all your sales for a specified period of time, all that can be found in the Seller Hub too. Make sure you look in the left rail as there are all kinds of options for various reports.

·1 year agoThe chance that some one from eBay will read any post is "slim to none" This site is simply a discussion board for eBay Buyers and Sellers.
You might want to contact eBay directly with you unique suggestion but provide a decoder to help with what you really mean. Had a Captain Midnight decoder ring back in the 1950s that really helped to unscramble (aka crack) the "code".

You must be young. Half of your life will be spent wasting time. It's entitled to want specific values. It's likely an accountant could figure out how to do it in Excel but then you'd have to waste money. If given a choice most people will pick wasting time over wasting money.

PSS:: Got married to my newer wife of 41+ years (hooked up 2 years before becoming legal). Glad that two year lesso years prior and got paid for it -- not much though - $185/month extra 33% for combat pay. (re: 1968)
