Should I even try to have my negative removed. It is funny
Terrific communication. Terrific shipping! Very happy!
Ninotchka (1939) [NTSC/ANA] [ML100115] - Laserdisc
It matches my neutral
I thought I had ordered a DVD, but it turned out to be a Laser disc. The seller was very, very nice to work with, and the item has since been sent back. Very kind and thoughtful vendor.

·1 year agoTechnically it's against policy to leave a negative with positive comments. My dad told me if I get any like that, just leave them for people to read, but what bugs me is that it knocks down a 100% rating and some people won't bother to read it. I do actually have a few nutty buyers who tell me they only buy from 100% positive sellers (and I worry these are the buyers who will leave me a neg if something goes wrong).
Ironically the buyer who was annoyed his package didn't arrive in three days opted to leave no feedback instead of the neutral the forum was suggesting I might get (not that it was reasonable to get a neutral for that when I have 5 days handling, but some buyers aren't reasonable).

·1 year agoYes, get it removed unless you want to look at it for a whole year. I guarantee you it won't seem that funny in a few months.

·1 year agoLet it go.
What if it stays negative with a negative statement.
I wouldn't do anything except block the buyer.
It's kind of funny and potential buyers will laugh at it and will still buy from you.

OP1 year agoThats what I was thinking, no one ever looks at positives. They do look at negatives and neutrals.

·1 year agoI would leave it, no one ever looks at green feedback, this is a good feedback that buyers will actually look at

·1 year agoI would contact the buyer to see if they would do a revision. Many buyers don't read the actual feedback while making a purchase. Some just glance and if they see a bad percentage, they pass. Your stats are great so i would not worry too much. Again, it does not hurt to ask the seller to revise it.

·1 year agoWhen someone is leaving negative feedback, they are asked if they had contacted the seller to try to work out any issue and they get a prompt they have to check OK to regarding they are about to post a negative or Neutral and did they want to do that. It's pretty hard to accidentally post a negative.

·1 year agoYou have interpreted my post to mean something different and maybe i should have been clear.
I am saying to communicate with the buyer and ask them. It is not horrible written feedback, but my point was that future buyers may just look at the percentage (which the OP has stellar feedback percentage) when making a purchase. If the OP can get it removed, more power to them.
Revised:
I would contact the buyer to see if they would do a revision. Many FUTURE buyers don't read the actual feedback while making a purchase. Some just glance and if they see a bad percentage, they pass. Your stats are great so i would not worry too much. Again, it does not hurt to ask the seller to revise it.

·1 year agoYou listed the item with the neg in the laserdisc category, with laserdisc in the title and at least 2x in the description.
I got one of these from selling and delivering timely a $1 advertising postcard picturing a big machine, listed in the postcard category, noting postcard in the heading and the image clearly showing a postcard, but the buyer seemed to think he was getting the big machine pictured.

·1 year agoThat's as bad as folks who buy sewing patterns thinking they're getting the actual garment.

I would like to share my neutral: It was a gift and arrived early.

·1 year agoThat's up to you. I first do what the first person said which is send a request to review. If that doesn't work I get it removed through appeal. It's really what you feel you want to do.

·1 year agoI agree with tsme35.
If they are happy, you could probably point it out to them and send them a request.
Most likely a mistake.

·1 year agoI'd ask them if their happy please remove negative and send them a request

·1 year agoIMHO a seller should NOT send a Feedback revision request UNLESS the buyer has agreed to do it. We only have a few of these forms every year, but more importantly they have a shelf life. If the buyer doesn't know to look for an Ebay email, the email could age off and close. Then the seller can't issue another one as we can't do that for the same transaction.
