It seems this new system is AI generated estimated shipping rates. Does the USPS automatically charge our EBAY accounts for any discrepancies?

-Forget AI generate rates, in your Shipping section use the Calculated setting and an accurate weight and box dimensions of the item packed for shipment. You may need to estimate this on the high side to be safe.
-In the unlikely event that an eBay printed label is under paid or overpaid the APV system between USPS and eBay will catch the mistake and either charge or credit the Seller's account accordingly ... I have seen this on my own account.
-Whenever you let someone else or some other entity (AI, eBay, etc) make decisions for you then you are at risk but will OWN the problem.
