What are the advantages and disadvantages of using eBay shipping labels as opposed to buying them from USPS, say?

What are the advantages and disadvantages of using eBay shipping labels as opposed to buying them from USPS, say?

·4 days agoI would not even consider buying from USPS directly.
I buy my USPS labels on ebay because if a package gets lost, refunded and then later delivered, ebay auto reimburses you if you used a ebay label.
I buy my UPS on pirate ship because of the ability to easily appeal and usually win UPS after delivery charges

Just trying to understand better as you may be considering something we are not.

The postage is much cheaper using eBay than paying full retail at USPS counter. If the package is delayed and you have to issue refund. Ebay will reimburse you if the package is delivered later.
Disadvantage. Can't pay with credit card to get cash back or airline miles which can be substantial depending on your sales.

I do it all the time. All you have to do is have your labels paid through PayPal, which is an option at the bottom of the label screen. Then have your PayPal account set to pay for shipping via whatever credit card you want. I've been doing this for years. And I get my Cash Back bonuses, which like you say, adds up over time. I save them all year and it is a great way to help fun Christmas.

·4 days agoAdvantages - cheaper and I can run labels anytime I want unless my equipment is down.
Disadvantages - more expensive and you need equipment to print labels unless you use the QR codes. Equipment can mean printer, paper or labels and space.
