·4 days agoHaven't seen the size but if you are shipping USPS there is nothing illegal about securely taping two identical boxes together. Given the extra cost for oversized items you should calculate 1 package vs two.

·4 days agoFirst of all - nice sale ... very nice sale. That brand was so sort after that you didn't even need the word 'wine' in the title.
One recommendation if you haven't shipped - go to a bar//liquor store and get one of those wine bottle box with the 'separator' insert. Wineries ship twelve FULL bottles in them.

·4 days agoYou have to be really careful about reusing wine/liquor/beer boxes via USPS. The website says all labels and marking must be removed but there is a ton of writing and logos all over some of those boxes. I don't know about UPS and FedX rules but I never use them anyway.
I found about this when I once used a liquor box to ship. I took a felt-tip marker and marked through everything really good on the box. The post office said it still was not acceptable and would not take it so I had to go home and find a different box.

We have covered a box with cut apart paper or plastic bags to cover printing on said box.

·4 days agoIs it those wine bottles? You are going to have to buy a label for each box and each box will need to be insured for the dollar amount in that box, if you want them insured. You are going to have to pack them so they don't break which will probably result in oversize boxes which will cost more. Each box with a value over $750 will have to be signed for.
I don't envy you having to pack and ship those.

I've worked as a shipper as a job, mainly UPS, off & on for 35+ years. Plus shipping my personal eBay sales for 25+ years. And shipping my employer's eBay sales daily for 3+ years. No guess as to how many items I've packed & shipped. A whole lot.
I wouldn't even try to ship that many valuable glass bottles, not in one or two packages. Probably not even individually.
Good luck, I hope it works out for you.

·4 days agoYou can't use the same (or a duplicate) label on two packages.

·3 days agoIt's not the same label. Get another label directs you to purchase another label with a different tracking number. It should add that tracking number to the same order.
