Shipment got lost
I had a shipment get lost by USPS. Tracking showed it was scanned by USPS and got to the buyers area and then sent to the "mail recovery center". The shipment was late November. The buyer tried to file for a refund through the USPS and got no response. He asked me for a refund, and since it was a small dollar sale, I just went ahead and did the refund. How do I file for a refund for me, through eBay or directly through USPS?

if it didn't have insurance...can a seller get a refund from USPS...I could be wrong...but I don't think so.
A seller can get a refund if the seller used postage like certified or registered or priority meaning the seller can get a refund of just the 'postage used which was purchased at the post office' but I think priority only has free insurance for a certain amount.
